How does the AI photo cataloging work?

Just point your camera at the contents of any bin, drawer, cabinet, or tote and take a photo. You can also upload an existing photo from your gallery. ToteCubby's AI analyzes the image, identifies the items it sees, and adds them all to the tote's inventory automatically. You can even snap a photo of a handwritten or printed list and the AI will read it and catalog those items for you.

What kinds of photos work best with AI cataloging?

Good lighting and a clear view of the items gives the best results. Open the bin or drawer and snap a photo looking straight in so the AI can see as much as possible. It works with photos of items laid out on a surface, items packed in a container, or even a written list on paper.

How does live search work?

Start typing in the search bar and results appear instantly as you type. ToteCubby searches across every room, tote, and individual item. You'll see which container holds your item and exactly where it's located in your home.

How do I create a room or area?

Open the app, go to Rooms, tap Add Room, and give it a name like Garage, Attic, Closet, or Basement.

How do I add a tote?

Select a room, tap Add Tote, then enter a label and optional notes about what's inside. You can also use the AI camera to instantly catalog the contents.

Can I rename or delete rooms and totes?

Yes. Tap the room or tote, then use the edit or delete option.

Is my data saved securely?

Yes. Your data is stored securely and tied to your account so it stays available across sessions.

Can I use the app without physical cubbies?

Absolutely. ToteCubby works whether you use custom cubbies, shelves, racks, drawers, cabinets, or simple stacked totes.
